Massimo Pinzani，医学教授，英国皇家医师学院院士(FRCP) (by nomination)，英国UCL 大学医学院肝脏及消化健康研究所所长， Sheila Sherlock肝脏病中心主任。作为肝脏病学研究领域的先驱之一，九十年代初便在UCL大学创立了一个具有国际竞争力的 “转化医学”实验室。该实验室的研究方向是肝脏和消化系统健康。其中包括：肝脏和肠纤维发生的细胞和分子机制、肝基质在肝细胞癌发展中的作用、胆管癌和转移性肝癌、肝脏疾病非侵入性评价体系、消化道实体瘤的抗肿瘤策略研究、再生肝脏病学、肝硬化的生理学和生物物理学研究等。目前担任Journal of Hepatology编辑(Snapshot)，担任Gut、Hepatology、Digestive and Liver Disease、Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International、World Journal of Gastroenterology、American Journal of Physiology Gastrointestinal and Liver Physiology、Hepatology Research、Alcologia等杂志的编委。
